  3. new drawing from a photo i’ve posted here earlier. you only know what sailing is like if you’ve done it yourself. it’s mostly great and fun. but it can be hard and exhausting and sea-sickening too. it all depends on the speed & direction of the wind and other weather conditions. probably also on the boat. the yacht I’m living on is in top condition and actually quite perfect so that’s a plus. sailing is also potentially quite dangerous, as i’ve recently found out with my own head. things can go wrong very fast. and last week they did, which forced us to turn back and come into Nelson, call the ambulance and get 5 stitches on my forehead. sigh… such is life…
